It was @ Cal State Northridge, their Accounting program.
Like all stereotypical Accounting majors, the dude was large on focus and small on social skills.
His focus and mastery of the Accounting materials led one professor in particular to dub him "Super Robert". He was, almost without a doubt, considered the best of our class and probably the best in the Accounting department at that time (2005-2008). Many profs would rave about his excellence.
But will his excellence, focus, and mastery of Accounting materials translate to stock market glory? That remains to be seen.
From my vantage point, I oftentimes saw a correlation between lack of social skills and dubious ethical thinking. Not necessarily in Robert Hymers, but just in general all around me. I once had some plan to develop & sell a particular product and, while explaining my idea to someone in a group project, the guy (not Robert, but somebody else) asked me if the product actually worked. I couldn't believe he thought in those terms. Sadly, many peeps in the business department just had no clue how to relate to other human beings.
