for Friday's July 13th close

the sky was especially blue on Friday, when
viewed from 9600 feet on our mountain biking outing

saw no one else in 8 hours up top, staying nearly until dark

are rare gems of unpopularity in some counties

the road I drive to access the high country is like
a wagon wheel primitive road, so there are some barriers
for convenience like no cell towers and 80,000 year old volcanic ash mixed in with the road dust …

and including the wounded grizzly bear nearby
