A lot of theories floating around, most of which are pretty far-fetched. Tisdal, you are spot on with your statements about Israel and their land. Everyone keeps pointing at the Financial Times, Alpha, etc. but those entities, while admittedly of dubious character, are not conducting the investigation. We need to keep in mind that the SEC does not begin investigations unless they suspect something. The following quote comes right out of their handbook: "...subpoenas are rarely issued without good reason." Like most everyone on this board, I know Zion is as honest and sincere as the day is long but, as I also read, management can make mistakes without even knowing they did so. The problem is that this investigation is going to take a very long time, eat up a lot of cash and divert management from what would otherwise be productive. The SEC is a massive government entity that could care less about the impact of their investigation. There are no conspiracies at work, just suspicion by the SEC that resulted in the subpoena. The only thing that will overcome the damage caused by this investigation is a report from Zion that commercial quantities of oil have been discovered. I, for one, am hanging in there until that announcement comes out.
