My niece, a fairly acclaimed chef and catering owner, still will throw in a can of spam in her green bean pot along with a couple of ham hocks at family
gatherings where serve yourself is the word everyone arriving at different times from travelling. Never seen a guest even willing to try it and I doubt she'd
ever try to convince any of her customers either. It's ok infused with the onions, potatoes, ham hocks and green beans with a slather of yellow mustard.
