to do this: you will first have to go to your phone settings-security-and turn on "allow unknown apps" or whatever your settings say if it is turned off...

next, on your phone, access the internet and go here:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/android/all/
(you can also click this link on your computer to see what the download page looks like)

when this page comes up on your phone---scroll down to "Fully localized versions"and click the left download arrow to download firefox...

the file downloaded is fennec-61.0.multi.android-arm.apk

the firefox app will now be installed...

go back into your phone settings and turn the "allow unknown apps" security thingie back off...

I don't believe installing FF this way allows it to update---so you will have to do that manually...
