On this July 4 weekend, I would like to thank our veterans.

It is always awkward when I approach a veteran individually in a grocery store or on the street, to thank them for their service.

As a complete wimp, I understand that it is a bad idea to infringe on their personal space to offer a hand shake.

I have not earned the right to simply salute them from a distance.

Its always a little weird.

So, I wanna take this opportunity to say thanks. Not only for what you have sacrificed, but for what our military has done in recent times.
