Hotzone: Have you ever heard of the Department of MOTOR VEHICLES? Engine and motor can used interchangably. A cotton 'gin' is slang for 'engine.' There were no gasoline engines when the 'gin' was first invented.

The term 'engineer' originates from the era of the steam locomotive. I don't know of many electrical, mechanical, civil or aeronautical 'engineers' who know how to operate a steam locomotive.

Semantics.....

No man should be considered totally useless....because he can always serve as a bad example.
