DMN, congrats on a well thought out, rational post.

I realize that the corporate silence is starting to drive some to question their investment, but in context of bringing new technologies to market, keeping a low profile is understandable.

Lockheed Martin worked with LQMT for three years and was very impressed with LQMT and their technology (as per published statements by the chief Lockheed engineer on the project). Unfortunately, after working on the project for three years, Lockheed decided to pursue a different direction with a significant re-design of the EAPS missile. The fact that LQMT did not get a production contract did not mean they were doing nothing during those three years. And I point out that for most of those three years, no one knew LQMT was working with Lockheed Martin because of NDAs.

The majority of posts here ignore the length of time it takes to get a new technology off the ground. They also equate no announcements with doing no business. So be it. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinions. But it is refreshing to read a post like yours that is more insightful than emotional.
