Question on last two day's trading pattern; Anyone?

What does the trading pattern of the last two days indicate? Down all day only to explode up at the end of the day. Is this accumulation by MMs and covering by shorts attempting to get as many shares as sellers will provide in preparation for a run up?

Anyone familiar with this type of trading pattern? Have you seen it in the past?
