His CPA license is active in CA for 13 more days and he has no known CPA license in states I checked (NV, OR, FL, UT), PLUS his business is inactive in Utah. I think his better days are behind him.

EVIO most certainly, and understandably, did replace him as CFO. A consultant role with EVIO means he gets paid for his time helping the new guy get up to speed. They will not use him as an accountant if he's not licensed.
