trust me I get what you are saying, but the problem is the digital aspect. to me that is the biggest deal in terms of the "cryptos"

can u hack a a pizza? can u hack cattle? can u hack a diamond? can u hack gold?

money and currency are also different.

so tell me, you would be 100% comfortable with a completely digital world when it comes to "money"?

I would love to have someone hack your "cryptos" and then tell me how you feel about it.

money in form of paper or coin can also be LOST. you can burn paper money, you can counterfeit it as well. you can also melt down silver and gold, but GOLD doesn't not lose any weight or properties when melted. if someone hacks or steals your crypto, its backed by nothing, its not FDIC insured now is it?

tell me, if I didn't buy a bitcoin for under $100, I wouldn't care about it either, but I certainly wouldn't pay $10,000, $15000, or $20000+ for one. would u? have you?

I am not trying to come across as argumentative, but many people I have talked to that have over $1,000,000 in assets just do not TRUST it, they would rather own PHYSICAL ASSETS. how are these people to be persuaded? how will Bitcoin perform during next major recession globally or in US which is the ultimate economy? what happens if CONGRESS gets involved in US in terms with CRYPTO? Congress which has power over US mint, has the power to BAN all crypto "currencies" you do understand this right? The federal government also has the power to seize all gold as well. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF GOVERNMENT. I think BITCOIN if it wants to be taken seriously will have to be accepted by hundreds of millions if not billions of people as a true form of MONEY or currency and I believe the more hacking involved and shady dealings, the more likely the price will come down back below $5000. remember, BLOCKCHAIN and BITCOIN are not the same thing.

just because Bitcoin is in its early stages doesn't mean it has a major future, there are things called BOOMS and BUSTS and I truly do not know what its future is, but luckily by the time I am in my 60's I will not give a shit.
