CINCINNATI, OH -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/20/06 -- Packaged Home Solutions, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PKGH) (www.PHSTeam.com) ("PHS" or "The Company") is today unveiling the senior management team recently recruited into senior management of Packaged Home Solutions, Inc. Each member of the executive team brings an area of expertise critical to the successful acquisition and roll up expansion strategy of 30 markets in the next 18 months. This cross marketing of experience and hands-on expertise represents a "Blue Ocean Strategy" of innovation that will create new opportunities in the interior and exterior home improvement and remodeling business for the Company as compared to the traditional remodeling company mindset.

Mike Klieber, Age: 45 Job Title: Senior General Manager of Midwest Region

Mr. Klieber joined Packaged Home Solutions in 2006 to fulfill the role as and to head up the Cincinnati Regional office, which includes Dayton, Indianapolis, Bloomington, Louisville and Columbus branch & satellite offices for Packaged Home Solutions Interior & Exterior operations.

Before being recruited to PHS, Klieber was the executive in charge of a Best Buy big box store and had total Profit & Loss and Operational responsibilities for a $46 million dollar store with 131 employees under his supervision. He increased marginal sales by 8% and net income by over $1 million.

Prior to Best Buy, Mr. Klieber was with Home Depot from 1991through 2004, which included the pioneer days before the massive Home Depot expansion. Before being promoted to a management level of operating a group of Home Depot stores, he learned the product side of the home improvement business from the ground up from heading up the Receiving Department to the Paint Department. He was promoted to the General Manager position of an operation in Cincinnati. He was responsible for operations & profit and loss of a $52 million dollar store, which included the welfare, payroll, and overall operations of 326 associates. Under Klieber's direction, within two years that store provided the best net income within 1,500 Home Depot stores by dollars and percentage increase. Beat net income by 32%, under payroll by $4.6 million, under operating expense by $832,000, beat sales plan by $3.6 million.

Todd Medina, Age: 43 Job Title: General Manager for Southeast Region

Mr. Medina has worked for over 29 years in the building and trades industry, primarily in the field of Installed Home Improvements. For more than 14 years he held various positions representing national companies such as Home Depot, Sears, Home Base, Sam's Club, Jim Walter Homes and Owens Corning. Throughout this time he has been responsible for the completion of over 25,000 home improvement projects, 200 custom homes and several commercial projects. In addition, he owned and managed a custom millwork and cabinet facility and distribution center.

Having worked in all the major regions of the country managing the processes of selling, furnishing and installing various interior and exterior products and services, he brings an invaluable and unique amount of expertise to PHS. In his early career he gained significant experience by working as a laborer and supervisor in many of the trades, such as carpentry, roofing, painting, concrete, landscaping and other essential aspects of the industry.

Medina entered the national brand name end of the home improvement business from 1989 to 2004, established himself as one of the country's leading innovators and performers in the industry. During this time he managed divisions with annual sales ranging from $2MM-$50MM and developed a reputation built on the formation and implementation of simple processes, effective employment profiling, high quality standards of performance and strong fiscal responsibility.

Prior to joining PHS Southeast, Mr. Medina spent the past 13 months conducting market due diligence in Northeast Florida, Tampa and Orlando, as well as Southern Georgia. He has leveraged off of pre-existing professional relationships throughout the State of Florida with key people in the Home Depot, Lowes and Sears organizations, in addition to other key contacts in the small business sector. The importance of the familiarity of the marketplace, strength of past business relationships, as well as the establishment of new ones, is the degree of opportunity created at both the local and national brand levels in a viable marketplace, but more importantly, the creation of a network of Qualified Managers, Salespeople and Installers able to be pulled together to execute the expansion business model that Packaged Home Solutions is implementing.

In discussing the addition of these two experienced executives, Mr. Dan Smith, CEO of PHS stated: "Both Mike Klieber and Todd Medina bring invaluable experience to the management team of Packaged Home Solutions. They both have strong experience in managing multi million dollar operations... and being pioneers into new territories. In order to build the Packaged Home Solutions business model effectively will entail hiring the best and the brightest in the home improvement industry. Knowledge of all aspects of the remodeling industry is essential -- and both Mike and Todd have that background. In addition, these men know each of their local regional marketplaces and have many solid relationships that will allow Packaged Home Solutions to grow faster because they know who can perform and who cannot."
