Les and Linda might not be the best managers in the world but for heck's sake, they are not such idiots as to not scream if Stupp or other currently CI docs tried to get on their FDA review board. I know it's the favorite game of everybody on the MB and their mother to second guess everything they've ever done and paint them as cartoon character idiots, brilliant scammers, and every caricature in between but how about getting real enough to realize that they are both lawyers and they if they know nothing else, they surely should know how to look out for our and their equal interests wrt getting approved, or making any deals with BP.
I heard that at some point before, they had one nay-sayer in the FDA on their review team who subsequently quit the FDA and went to work for a competitor. In that case, it wouldn't help them to complain due to getting retroactive proof of CofI. In fact, if what I heard is true and it's just a rumor, by no means definite info, making a stink retroactively would only put them at risk of pissing somebody else at the FDA off, so there seems to be nothing at all to gain and lots to risk losing by complaining in that case. FWIW, I also heard that this CofI was one of or maybe the main reason for the enrollment hold, which would help explain why they never wanted to discuss the above situation with the public because the last thing in the world they want is to get into a pissing contest or blame game against the FDA, when they super need cooperation going forward. Anyway, this is just one of many rumors concerning the enrollment hold - zero effect on what game is on now in any case.
And please note that is totally different from what you are discussing where somebody with a very easy to prove CofI gets involved now and tries to block their regulatory progress. Les and Linda are both Washington insiders. If you think for a minute they don't know the basics of how to deal with the FDA and prevent getting screwed like that, then imho it would be foolish for you to own this stock, 'cause dealing with the govt is supposed to be the biggest value those guys bring to the table. (btw I've also heard that Les had enough to do with getting RTT through that he was invited to go watch Trump sign it, but he declined to go because he's a dem. imo he should have gone anyway and then posted photos of himself there for the publicity.)
