It doesn't mean anything. Hitler and Fidel Castro were nominated over the years. And, there have been years when no one was nominated or won. They're pretty picky about who wins. Obama won for his

"extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples".


One of Trump's first moves was to call all Diplomats back to the US. Rather doubt they give it to the guy who kisses Dictators asses and wants to burn down the global economy with trade wars.
