I can give you much on this naked shorting issue.... they will never cover, because... the government/politicans/sec/doj/dtcc/wall street will never allow the issue to be settled.... this market and worldwide issue is larger than the great depression and they all know it... it is totally now out of control and if these so called officials really tried to do something about it the the entire worlds economy would collapse.... no joke.... this is why we have been bitching for years about the problem and burns overstock fame has been leading the charge with sdna the only one to get some kind of very minor sec ruling against this pipe/naked shorting problem done reguardless of what the mass middle class population has been screeming about..... nothing, i repeat nothing will be done officially with this issue... it is too far gone now to fix and the consequences of any real reforms will be devistating on the worlds economy... I have heard that it would cause something of a world '29 meltdown that would make that look like a party.... this is not just my opinion.... don't ever count on a short squeeze or covering to any meaningful extent...
