Vanilla? Secretions from beaver's anal glands has been used for at least 80 years in making vanilla flavoring, familiarly to most in vanilla ice cream.

I'm just curious as to the guy who first leaned down and took a whiff of a beaver's anus and then took a taste of the oozing dark brown secretion and went
