They added an amendment removing the grow at home option. It won’t stand it will be rejected by the house.

Here is my take on what is happening:

I live in the capital city of BC and I have the choice of about 12 “dispensaries” right now. A few are well run the rest questionable.

This is a huge societal change. First recommended in 1972 by the LeDain Commission. No government has had the fortitude to actually implement it until now. I give the Trudeau Liberals credit for that.

But they are, rightfully so, being cautious. If they win re-election then in 4 years that caution will dissipate and the MJ scene will look entirely different.

The biggest part of the industry will be vapes, beverages and edibles. That will put pace bud tenfold.

The retail ended will change dramatically once the election in 2019 is over.
