I agree.......I think!

... don't fix until it totally collapses." On this I totally agree for sure. I saw something on TV a month or so ago about the Golden Gate Bridge and the upkeep that's required. Constant sanding, painting, changing rusty bolts, rewelding areas that show cracks or more than normal wear and stress, checking cables, etc.
It seems like it takes an act of Congress, a hurricane, or a tornado to get the simplest things fixed, like potholes. But, life must go on. LOL
