watchful eye 33, people will not be able to simply dump their SPCL shares into the market once trading resumes on Friday;

Every trade starts with a buyer willing to buy SPCL at a certain price. There will also have to be a matching order of someone that needs to sell. This will die a slow death until SPCL stock is revoked making every share worthless forever.
