You've got to be kidding me! Sen. Conrad Burns says he believes President Bush has a plan to win the war in Iraq but is keeping it quiet. He's actually saying this in public. Are any of you old enough to remember Richard Nixon's secret plan to end the Viet Nam war? Nixon said it again and again while he was running for President, and insisted that he couldn't divulge the plan because it would ruin it. Sure enough, he was elected President. Four years later the war was still raging. Then, on election eve he had Kissinger announce "Peace is at hand!" Kissinger apparently had had some breakthrough in negotiations with the N. Vietnamese. Sure enough, Nixon won a second term. The breakthrough turned out to be nothing. It then took Nixon years to pull our troops out. Meanwhile, Nixon was destroyed by Watergate.

Now this Burns idiot is floating the idea that Bush has a secret plan to win the war?!?
