CNS advertisements, it's a crap shoot.

As you may know, these advertisements, the terminology, the emphasis, in fact the entire presentations have become a type of art form for manufacturers. The people who write this stuff are very well trained, highly skilled at what they do. They study the FDA labeling requirements and AE response requirements continuously. No product gets launched, assessed or controlled w/o careful edits/controls to all advertisements/labeling. Every little word, font size, exact position and presentation is controlled for a reason, to avoid errors in claims/suites. The cautionary text on a pack of cigarettes is an example of labeling designed to cover the manufacturer. The long string of (do not's) at the end of the typical TV advertisement is/may be connected to some AE or to avoid/prevent possible legal action. It is all labeling and FDA is all over labeling.
