It has been estimated that Zion has incurred a 3 month hit to its drilling schedule overall due to the required observance of Shabbat and other Jewish holidays over the course of drilling and testing the MJ#1.[/b]

THIS IS PATENTLY UNTRUE. There is no "required observance of Shabbat" in Israel. Anybody's who's been there knows that buses and trains run on the holy days, that stores are open, restaurants and bars are packed and most of them are serving non-kosher food. Israel is not a religious state insofar as religious law is not enforced on the country as a whole. A majority of Israeli Jews are secular and live their lives accordingly. Private enterprise can operate at will, particularly foreign-owned businesses, and I guarantee you that the Israeli Energy Ministry is not run by rabbis.

This is just another excuse for ZN not meeting the goals it declares in its PR's, goals intended only to keep gullible shareholders in limbo. "It will happen next week!" Or the week after that.

Also, Tisdale says there is no doubt that Zion is meeting the required documentation due dates and then he says that the IEM may waive the deadline. Why do they have to waive them if they are being met?

These aren't just excuses, they're bad, illogical excuses.

Zion will never deliver on its promises of finding oil, imho.
