It's always good to see Falconers posts.

Wouldn't it be nice if we didn't always have to speculate what's going on "behind the scenes?"

Yes, it would be nice to have a clearer picture. Emphasize the context though. Not only has the FDA worked the exit of BP (my emphasis based on what we know,BP left the field) but the Aus. Gov has approved the extension of A2-73 treatment/trials for 2 more years. No evidence these are somehow synchronous events, but stuff does happen. And, I am glad it played out this way and not the opposite. If Australia had shut down/not extended A2-73 and if BP were still on the AD Amyloid plaque field then we would be rightfully more concerned.
