saw it when i got back from my trip tonight since it was too busy while visiting my dad, so, here are my thoughts...

keep in mind, i didnt know who won when i wathced it, and we were busy fighting rain coming home to va tues and did NOT look on line. so, here goes my thoughts...

round one,,,, ding ding ding...

caleb messed up right out of the gate but he was ok, but not anything to write home about.

gabby- didnt like it. but ended nicely

maddie- boring but good...

round 2... ding ding ding...

caleb- was in his comfort zone.. did good, not great.. that song brought me back to better days.

gabby- huh?? what was that? but she did get the crowd going. i worry that idollerz will choose her since she is good with the audience. energetic, cute and all.

maddie- nice but depressing...

round 3... ding ding ding...

caleb- did very good but rushed job on a johnny cash song. the kids now days, as per most of the show this season, will be like.. hey, whats that good music? its soooooooooo much better than rap and hip hop.

so, we have a country singer (caleb).. a folk singer (maddie) and a pop star (gabby)

round 4- ding ding ding...

gabby- still dont like her tone...

maddie- good but hurried... and i was embarrassed for her when she hit her tooth on the mike. sigh.

and the winner is... Maddie!! so the world is ready for a combo of patsy Kline and sarah mclaughlin but i am sorry to hear maddie say, earlier.... "i dont care who wins"... humble is good but dont "diss" idol at the same time i guess??

sadly, before the results, they get one more chance to toss the drag queen in our face. rrrr!

caleb was 2nd in place. i was happy either way.
