I'm well aware of all of that, I live here and I graduated from ASU. The entire purpose of my post was eyes-on due diligence to provide an update to folks who can't get here.
Yes, Mill Ave is packed with people almost every night. During daylight hours, Mill rats rule. Most of the people outside there yesterday (around 11:30 AM) were scruffy bums laying on a pile of their possessions or talking to street signs. I know you can see that anywhere, I was just observing and reporting.
