Wow!!! Thank you for sharing! It’s crazy how things sometimes end up. I have a similar experience with doctors and a very sick metastatic kidney cancer brother 50 years old. Treated with avastin among other chemo drugs. This was 2011, I researched clinical trials and current imuno oncology drugs. Came across ipilumibab (Yervoy) and nivolimab (opdivo) at that time in clinical trials I begged the oncologist to give him a chance. Well you all know how it goes. Brother passed and Yervoy and Opdivo are now SOC for metastatic kidney cancer! Things ARE progressing. Just not as fast as we would like. We definitely need laws to pass for “the right to try”. I think this little engine NWBO will surprise us ALL. Good luck and am so sorry for your loss!!
