Mr. Simpson....It really says a lot about KKR getting a 5 percent dividend for their 600 million dollars series B share conversion, and payable in shares, and not cash...it reminds me of the time when, as a carpenter, I took 6 months of checks from a shaky restaurant payable on the first of the month as they generated the cash each day...I would only have accepted payment for my work in this manner, because I knew the owner was good for the money, and owned the land the restaurant sat on....so indeed, I am absolutely sure that KKR is confident that those shares are as valuable as cash...by the way, they can use them to balance out their short position, in which they probably made more in shorting than the dividend would yield... just sayin Lodas
