The assets could be impounded or some cease order issued that is sealed. "He cannot legally take those things from us" but a bankruptcy or federal lien or confiscation could do the trick. This is not your typical scam in the OTC from what I see. The industry is booming. The company was doing great. Things do not add up from the info in the public realm. Would like to peel back the curtain.
