Back To The Future

"A PPO crossover is not new. Many of you are familiar with the MACD ocillator. PPO is almost the same. I believe PPO is better and my way of looking at it is so different that right now it will give superior results".
http://jibes0.tripod.com/trend/TrendSeekerx.html

Jibes back in 2000 wrote this on his excellent web site. I was not a part of the aim community at that time.
However, my evidence convinces me that the MACD crossover ,in my opinion ,is the best of the TA timer tools on the market.
On Jibes site, he introduced a back test of
these stocks with a 2000 year starting date.
BA,AEIS,RDC and couple more that no longer exist.
I did a MACD crossover of these stocks.
METHOD: $10,000 capital, 100% investment.
Enter a 100% position when these MACD monthly setting of 12,26,9 do an upward crossover.

METHOD: Exit or liquidate a 100% position when these MACD monthly setting of 24,52,9 do a downward crossover.
Results: BA. 6/1/2000 to date, $194,000. B/H $80,827.Stll in market awaiting exit signal.
Results: AEIS. 5/9/2003 to date. 51,585. B/H47,452. Out of the
market. Awaiting entry signal.
RDC. 4/12002 to date. $20,859B/H $5,748.Still In market waiting for the next signal.

To test, one can match up their recent holding and compare their entry level versus the MACD crossover entry level.
Here is one that has been talked about some time ago. I think it was L-D aimed.
STKL. 1/3/2000 to date, $133,242 B/H $49,643.
Out of the market. Awaiting next signal.
So, using the MACD crossover, the back to the future stocks suggested by Jibes and one selected by seeing it talked about on the aim board have garnered since year 2000 a total of $400,452 on a $10,000 investment in each stock.
Comments are welcomed.
