When consolidated financials are done, they eliminate all intercompany balance sheet and income statement accounts and bring in goodwill. So the financials issued only relate to third party activity and acquisition differences.

Regardless though, in your example one company would have income and another has the expense so the net effect is nil anyways.

Maybe you should read up on how those work instead of falsely stating accounting impropriety.
