JohnnyBgoode, a good strategy scanner (I use etrade's) can pick these up when they start to move. With the right parameters set, you can be alerted to these micro plays when they achieve a new high for a set period of time, for example. Please excuse if you already know this...you probably do. :) I guess I'm answering your question for those who don't already do this. All the best.
