I need you all to realize something here in regards to UOIP:

The reason we are being heavily shorted is as follows: If you were the company that knew they were on the losing end of a lost proposition and knew that it was going to cost you a significant amount of money, would you not start trying to mitigate that loss with proactive actions? Case in point. When, notice not IF, UOIP prevails in this process, you will be talking about tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars. If UOIP agreed to be bought out, then that price would have to be at a premium to what levels the stock was trading at the time of negotiations. Many on here have stated that they would gladly take .15, .25 or even .50 cents a share tomorrow. Would those same people be willing to take those deflated prices if the equity was already trading at say .25 cents? I think not. Arris and Cisco will be countersued if they do not defeat UOIP by all of the customers they marketed this technology to, which infringes on our already validated patents. Rather than pay royalties ad infinitum for the continued use of our technology, the easier, quieter and more sensible resolution is to simply buy UOIP out and be done with it. Now, by surpressing the price with vicious shorting, they can minimize their potential offer for a buy out. A stock trading at .01 when offered .25 overnight, will take that 7 days a week. A stock trading at .25 might be looking for .75+. If I were Cisco, Arris or anybody else potentially adversely affected by a loss in court, I would short this stock too. No way this goes to court. Once the judge deadpans the final oral arguments put forth by Cisco, a trial date will be set, likely December, and Cisco will immediately start discussing buyout terms. They have the cash, they screwed up, they do not want the negative publicity, nor the bad look from their customers to whom they marketed this technology. I envision UOIP rising once the judge does, what I know he will.
