Anyway, my point all along was I wish more $$$$ was diverted from one of the “Pie Chart Sectors” into Federal Funding for Research in Cancer, ALZ, Parkinson’s Disease, Heart Disease, etc.

I agree, but not at the military's expense. Say what you want about President Trump, but he supports the military and much of his foreign policy is back by thy the military...very different than years prior. ISIS is about gone and NK is ready to negotiate. Coincidence? I don't think so. Whats the common-denominator? President Trump ability to project strength (and his willingness to use it).

The FDA is one of the biggest waste of taxpayer money. And they had a hand in allowing people to get addicted to opiods. All for BP profit. The military on the other hand, spends most of the money wisely. I say most because I am 100% there is wasteful soending somewhere when your budget is $680 billion. My best friend is a US Navy SEAL. Never in 100 years would I want him to go into combat without the necessary training and equipment. I want him to have the best sh*t available to accomlish missions that most people cannot or would not do.. Those that oppose Military spending are the same people who think its ok to give health-care and free college to every illegal immigrant that enters our country. Its pathetic and un-american IMO. The world is a dangerous place. Anybody remember 9/11? Its much more dangerous than that period of time.

Maybe the new FDA Commish and his right-hand woman Mrs. Janet Woodcock, will clean things up. That remains to be seen.
