Great. But behind what you saw was activity to get the restrictive legend removed....and it likely got started with your contacting your broker, which at least ensured your divvy shares were freed up with others they were doing.. Because the issuance was a divvy going to a number of folks your broker was likely able to use one legal opinion letter to get the legend removed across many different accounts...along with approval from the company both of which the TA would need to have.

The point is in most cases shareholders would need to contact their broker to get it removed. TDA made the process easy...some others...not so much.

Besides that my main point was they didn’t become automatically tradeable six months ago as the original poster had suggested.

As a rule “restricted securities” require action on the part of the holder and their broker to make happen. That can be as little as a request to do so, or as much as having to get your own legal opinion letter at some expense.
