yesterdays news of the apprehension of the "california killer" ends a 40 year old saga in my family... my brothers boy Brian, and his new wife Katie were killed as they were walking their poodle.. Brian was in the Air force and serving at the air base, but lived off post...the killer accosted them with a gun, Brian told Katie to run away as Brian faced him..The killer shot Brian in the street, then chased Katie in a rear yard and shot her... we were all devastated by the event.. Brian was my nephew, and the youngest of my brothers 4 children... rest in peace Brian and Katie.... Lodas
