FFS. well to state the obvious ...Its a risk off environment .
You have a flattening yield curve 2yr/10 yr . Flattening yield curves have always preceded a slowing ( at least ) in economic activity .
You have the 10yr at 3% and 2 yr at 2.5% ? ........for many ( particularly those retired ) will settle for the safety of 2.5% annual return on their money for the next 2 yrs ..rather then risk any of it in the market on binary events like R-IT.
