One reason I’m confused is that Max Sound sued Netflix, claiming that Netflix owed royalties to Vedanti Systems Ltd for infringing Vedanti Systems Ltd patent by streaming.

But quite apart from that confusion, I don’t know what use Netflix would have in a license for the Trammel technology.
