And you could be 100% right. It is not yet known how this should be correctly interpreted. Should it be what we are suggesting, then it's a huge win for Mannkind. We'll find out soon enough but more careful reading does suggest what you are stating. This does not remove the black box warning. This is not huge news but good news that does tell us the drug works better than expected and without the side effects feared.

The three year period is up and that is a typical time line given for the FDA to remove REMS requirements.
