I believe it was Ice. It was a sticky. Excellent summary of reason Cisco (and DOCSIS 3.0+ modem sellers) involved.
They infringed on the awarded patent of Chandbond's original DOCSIS.
I know links sent weren't parsimonious, but since hunting and gathering facts, just provided what found/had.
