Most "Phd professors" do not make good CEOs or employees for that matter. How many Phd Professor types can you name that are head of fortune 500 companies? I can name way more that CEO's that dropped out of college than anyone here can name that were past professors and Phd's. Including we can all name the at least 3 of the largest companies in the world by market capital today who's CEO's dropped out of college to start. I've worked with a number of employees that were Phd's and in general they were not good workers - maybe some are good in research departments. But when you want to get something done - they are not the ones you want to be chief or Indian. Philosopher yes, thinker yes, academic research yes.
