LOL. You are very right about the art part.

I've got one stock that has jumped about 25% after I sold the CC. Bad move on my part. I've got to decide tomorrow to either let the stock go or to go out several months to get a higher strike price. Even If I do the second choice my strike price will still be underwater but if the stock declines a little I will be back in good shape. Not sure if I want to see the stock price decline as I sold CCs on only part of my position.

You will some and you lose some, even if you still make good money on the trades.
