Sun - 10 Solos
As usual I am posting this before reading others thoughts; I am still using the 0 - 10 scale.
Amelia Hammer Harris - Terrible song choice; she may have serious talent, but this didn't show it. 5.5
Garrett Jacobs - Not bad, not great either, a couple of real bad moments. 6.0
Maddie Poppe - Loved the song choice and she did it justice. 8.5
Ada Vox (Adam) - A bit overdone as is her style, but still I liked it, he/she has some serious talent. He is showing more and mlore that he is more of a Broadway singer and performer. 8.0
Caleb Lee Hutchinson - Good voice in development, a bit weak in first half, but this is his best thus far. 8.0
Effie Passero - A real power house, she got a bit screechy, but otherwise it was very good. 8.5
Alyssa Raghu - A decent effort with some good moments. However, I think she can better. 8.7
Marcio Donaldson - This guy can sing for sure, but I just don't care for him; maybe it is his song style I don't like. He just doesn't do much for me. 7.0
Mara Justine - She is often just too much. Bobby was right to point out her 'Hair Pops..' Mara picked a big song and then stepped up to it, and without the stupid chitt. 9.0
Jurnee - Best this far tonight, Real talent dis[played here. 10
Shannon O’Hara - A good performance with no stand out moments. 7.8
Ron Bultongez - This guy has a good voice, but he has got to forget about the braces and sing. Now I know why he sings through his teeth, and this is why his diction is poor; just sing. 9.0
I would send home: Ada Vox (Adam), Amilia, Garrett, Marcio, Shannon.
Although if this week is like last week, there could a few surprises in store for us tonight. Well, it is 8: PM here on the west coast, I'll be watching the show soon, I like to let the DVR get an hour recorded before I start viewing - I despise commercials.
