Help. important question re: NHS perscriptions was asked in a comment on the very latest 5 star review located on the Facebook Actipatch page. The page host couldn't answer until further research. See the conversation below or on the Facebook page (if it doesn't copy below):

I started my trial five days ago, I work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and have always been bothered about prescribing high levels of opioid analgesia for patients with Chronic Pain. So ...... I am now in a situation where I have multiple joint and muscle pains which has been under investigation for a few months. I was excited but sceptical on Monday when I received my trial Actipatch to say the very least!!!! I started wearing it that evening and I have not been disappointed, for the first time in years not just months I have been totally pain free and it happened within a few hours of wearing it. I was so impressed I signed my 74 year old Father up for a trail for his ongoing painful and frozen shoulder. He has been wearing his now for a few hours and already noticing he has a lot less pain. Thank you for such an amazing product !!! From a professional perspective I am keen to know when these will be available to prescribe on the NHS? I will certainly be an actipatch ambassador from now on for chronic pain ???

ActiPatch We were not notified of those conditions. We were only told that coverage would begin on the 1st and that tariff information. I’ll message the main office so they can investigate.

ActiPatch The office is closed for the weekend so we probably won’t know until Monday. We are a US based company so your NHS is very different from our insurance program, and they’ll probably need to contact someone to learn more. :)
