I think MJVP may be a vehicle for taking MOTA and perhaps other incubator companies public. If so, we will probably receive dividend shares in MJVP. I noticed they never addressed what the ownership structure of MOTA would be. I can't help but draw parallels to what mCig is doing with OBITX. The two companies now seem to be executing on the same strategy although with some nuanced differences.
I don't see MJVP as a bad move. I notice that they currently only have about 1.5 million shares OS so there's plenty of room to offer dividend shares, if, for example, PNTV sells MOTA (or any other incubator company) to MJVP in exchange for ownership and dividend shares in MJVP.
I listened to the conference call yesterday and I think their technology approach and strategy is sound. I only had two reservations. First, they apparently haven't completely thought through how much they need to charge businesses for cashing in their MOTA coins for fiat currency in order to turn a profit. I'm sure that they can come up with an offering that MJ businesses will find attractive but this should have been at the top of their business planning. Second, the system isn't complete since MJ businesses still can't open a bank account to hold their funds. Brett and Geoffrey explained that most MJ businesses have already established separate federally legal companies which are not subject to banking restrictions to hold their funds (LOL perhaps that's what MJVP is). In any event, they won't have a total solution until they can fill this gap.
I don't agree with folks who say that they should stay focused on GLF. They're simply claiming that this management can't walk and chew gum at the same time. How much management does it take to watch MJ grow. Nothing much can happen until the crop is harvested. I think it's smart for them to look for other market opportunities and Blockchain is definitely an attractive opportunity even if in the end it does nothing more than make their own operation and supply chain more efficient.
