Here's a long term look. It's not moved more than about $2/share in the last 12 months if you ignore that one spike.

At ~30% cash in my Sandbox portfolio of 10 stocks I can see the logic in putting maybe half of it in something like HYZD. I'd leave the rest in MMFs for trading purposes. If the MMFs got used up, then start tapping the HYZD for continued buying if needed.

Downsides are potential draw-down in price/share at the time it's needed (see early 2016 above) and paying a commission to retrieve the $$$ when needed.
