Those 100 shares showing on the bid or ask on L2 can be deceiving, they are actually codes the MMs use to communicate with each other and they are having their day today! An other poster shared the codes recently (thank you) so here they are again:
100 I need shares.
200 I need shares badly, but do not take the stock down.
300 Take the price down so I can load shares
400 Keep trading it sideways.
500 Gap the stock. This gap can be either up or down, depending on the direction of the 500 signal.
505 - Short on Shares
911 - Pending News
They may show 100 but have several thousand at that price they are holding back. Personally I find this offensive and feel it should be done away with. Another reason Rory is hell-bent on up-listing.
