How can Phil Hartstein - President, Chief Executive Officer tell the world on Thursday in the conference call that all the current patent licensing discussion going on are for at least 10 million.
"So for example, if we had multi-hundred million dollar claim, you're likely still to see that a settlement value would be some hundred million dollars. And the reason for that is that it's just from a cost of capital perspective makes a lot more sense to those companies to just continue and buy. But I do think that amongst our current litigation campaign companies that you see I would argue that they're all in the double digits of millions.[/u] It really depends on how far into the litigation they are. How much value should be attributed to the use of the Finjan patent, in their own products and represented in the revenue, cost and time incurred in the investment of each of those cases."
Then sign a deal on Friday for 3.9 mil.
What am I missing here. Why isn't this a false and misleading statement. Please clarify?
.... a long time holder
IBC - can you guide to his 500 mil statement on Symantec ??
