This is still straight Silicon Photonics so producing it at scale and at acceptable pricing while turning a profit is the hard part. Lebby says LWLG can accomplish this with the use of Polymers.

This is also the same thing LWLG is addressing with their final goal of an SWM transceiver bypassing the need for optics existing on the face plate of the server rack, going straight to OBO (on board optics).
