Whitewater55,

LOL. Well not exactly like that. More like the UCLA sponsored conference on GBM knows Dr. Linda Liau and NWBO are waiting to share data from a blinded analysis which they have placed in the hands of a non UCLA affiliated and independently respected journal. UCLA may have been convinced, even without specifics given, that they would want to share the data from the article by Dr. Linda Liau and that rescheduling would be worth the wait vs waiting one year for the next conference. So I believe UCLA chose to wait for the independent journal to publish the article but with a plan B in their pocket to be sure the data from the article gets published before their rescheduled conference. Their plan B would be to publish in the journal Dr. Linda Liau gave up being editor in chief of after becoming department chair. ASCO might then be the forum to share updated blinded data or even top line data on PFS to discuss the issues surrounding it and any resolution process worked out with regulators if nothing else. I have a feeling OS will remain blinded. I think blinded data may include data indicating complete resolution of tumors in some patients if German improvements, which I believe we're implemented, are as important as I expect them to be. Measuring durability of response would then be what is keeping the trial blinded. That kind of info in the hands of the principal investigator who is from UCLA and has close ties to a journal and the complete confidence of UCLA could cause a UCLA sponsored GBM conference to be rescheduled in my opinion. This is especially true if there is any doubt that the article in the hands of an independent journal not closely tied to UCLA might purposely be being held up from being published. Best wishes.
