Something for Everyone ...
It takes a while to wrap your head around all of the information that AW disclosed yesterday.
Some of the high points for me:
Pharmaceutical Consultant
There is too much going on for BIEL’s small staff to handle. A big THANK YOU to the NHS. Bring in the pros to make sure that every deal maximizes BIEL’s best interests and that all interested parties get the proper attention by professionals they are familiar with.
B. Braun Rises from the Dead in Monster Fashion
After a long period of silence B. Braun comes alive with a Major Announcement, Day Surgery Program for Knee and Hip Replacement. This program is another big money saver for the NHS and is ready to be implemented Nationally.
Currently 80,000 joint procedures a year with UK B. Braun. The Day Surgery Program sends patients home sooner with an ActiPatch and a prescription for 6 additional devices. Do the math.
Braun UK has a similar program under development for Spine Surgery.
Braun Germany is working on the same Day Surgery Program and will be implementing it soon. Braun operates in 60 countries. Two in the bag 58 to go.
Allay, Menstrual Pain Therapy
The Women’s Hospital at Birmingham is an NHS Foundation Hospital. IMO, good results with this Clinical Trial adds another indication for ActiPatch in the Drug Tariff.
Migraine Headaches
The Migraine Clinical Trial is complete and the data is being analyzed. Positive results would open up another major market to BIEL. With the prospect of serious healthcare expenses to be saved by preventing Migraines the NHS and other healthcare providers would be all over this.
Immediate Sales Growth
We anticipate imminent solid sales growth from the following programs:
• NHS reimbursement of ActiPatch in the United Kingdom – Started 4/1/2018, some revenue to be realized in Q1 with the stocking of NHS Pharmacies
• B. Braun, UK same day surgery program- Implemented “now” nationally in the UK, Germany to follow soon
• US professional sales to physical therapist, nursing homes, managed care providers- Performance Health Deal, time frame now
• International geographic market expansion; and,- MundiPharma Deal, time frame now
• Domestic and International License and Supply Agreements for ActiPatch and the Smart Insole products.- IMO, Agreements have been signed and revenue has already been realized with much more on the way
There are many more positives in this letter that I have not touched on. An amazing Update on the company status and the status is Off the Charts!!
